Video Content Challenge Week 11

Video Content Challenge Week 11

Welcome to week 11 of the Video Content Challenge!

How to take part:

Just check back at www.JoLinsdell.com every Tuesday for the latest video challenge. I'll be sharing my own video for each challenge to give an example of how you could do it (this is, of course, only an example. I hope people will get creative with their own videos). Once you've uploaded your challenge video for the week to YouTube, share the direct url for it in the comments section of the post so we can all give feedback.

Video Content Challenge Week 11

This week's challenge is to upload a video where you talk about authors you admire.

Here's my video for this week

How are you doing with the challenges so far? Remember to link up your videos in the comments section below.

    1. Thanks Belle. I love a good challenge ;) By motivating others, I motivate myself. The video content challenge was started mainly to make myself post my own videos on a more consistent basis. I love the Booktube and Authortube communities but found I wasn't posting much for the latter to my own channel. By hosting a regular author chat video I forced myself to brainstorm new ideas for types of videos I could create. as everything is always more fun when others join in, I figured I'd make it a challenge that anyone could participate in with me.

    1. JK Rowling is awesome. Harry Potter is the best-selling book series in history, and one of my own personal favourites. From the death of her mother, birth of her first child, divorce from her first husband and relative poverty, she definitely went through a lot before hitting success with her books. A real "rags to riches" life story. I love that she lost her billionaire status after giving away a lot of her earnings to charity. She does a lot for various charities. An excellent role model is you ask me :)

    1. I think the Harry Potter series appeals to so many people. There's something in it for all generations. The fact that it made you fall in love with books just proves the awesome power it has. Books that get people excited about reading, and falling in love with books are special.

    1. I think that's one of the great things about the Harry Potter series, that it doesn't have an age range as such. It's loved by all generations.
