Promo Day on Saturday was awesome! A huge thank you to all of you that came and joined in the fun. My head is still spinning from all the info and tips that were shared.
So much went on during the day. I'm still working through all my notes. 24 hours of awesomeness!
All the webinars were great. The presenters really did an excellent job this year.
The live chats were a blast. One of my favourite things is when I get to connect in live events and have a good old chatter. Video hangouts are my absolute favourites as it's the closest to being face to face. If you'd like to organise a video chat with me get in touch and we can set one up.
The social media chats were also fun. Twitter is my favourite for those. Again, I'm happy to organise one if you'd like to interview me.
Throughout the day we touched on loads of topics related to book marketing and, author branding. One of the main points that came up time and time again was the importance of being a real person and connecting. None of that repeated "buy my book" stuff. If you have any suggestions for the type of content you'd like to see me share more of then please leave a comment below to let me know.
As a special treat I'm sharing with you today the replay of my own webinar from the event (sorry but the written extras were only for those who took part in the live event but hopefully you'll get a lot of the video anyway) and two of the fantastic live panel discussions that happened during the day.
My webinar: Blogging for Authors
Panel discussion: Connecting with Readers
Panel Discussion: Virtual Book Tours
If you took part in the event or if you have feedback about the above videos please leave a comment below to let me know what you thought.
