Yesterday marked the start of IndieReCon, an online conference organised by the Alliance of Independent Authors. And what a start it was! The live webinar events were packed full of great information and tips.
I'm still trying to catch up with all of the webinars but my favourite so far has been Content Marketing 101 with Jane Friedman. This webinar was a mother-load of information about content marketing! Here's a few bits that stood out (just click to tweet ;)).
Other stuff:
I'm super busy at the moment getting everything ready for this years Promo Day event which will take place on Saturday 31st May at www.PromoDay.info. I'm really excited about this year. It's going to be AWESOME!
A fabulous line up of presenters, live pitch sessions with Publishers, promoting and networking activities.... I can't wait!
My presentation this year is "How to be Twittertastic" where I'll be sharing loads of tips on how to use the popular micro-blogging site, including info about the new site design.
If you haven't already done so, register now at www.PromoDay.info. It's completely free to attend.
#PD14 is now trending on Twitter thanks to this tweet:

The Catholic Writers Conference
From 15th to 21st March I presented a week long forum workshop at the Catholic Writers Conference Online on the topic of virtual book tours. We discussed things like the types of stops you can include in a virtual book tour, ways you can promote a VBT, and media kits and other useful tools to help keep you organised.
This is a screenshot of a post by one of the administrators Karina Fabian. I'm honoured to be given such a grand label.
Here's a screenshot with one of the comments from an attendee:
There were lots of other interesting presentations through the week too and it was a pleasure to connect with such a friendly bunch.
