Title: A Reflection of Evil: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery
Author:William Todd
Narrated by:Ben Werling
Length: 2 hrs and 4 mins
After months of inactivity, Holmes and Watson have two cases thrust in their lap in a single day. First, a mysterious woman from Swansea, Wales, seeks Holmes' help finding her husband who has disappeared in the middle of the night. As soon as she leaves, Holmes receives word that there has been a prison riot with several dead and a few inmates missing. Lestrade is asking for his services.
Holmes believes the two cases are not a coincidence, but he has no idea who is behind it and to what end. They go to Swansea in what could be either a wild goose chase or a setup. Will Holmes unravel the mystery before they get to Swansea? If not what will be in store for them when they step off the train?

Now on to the party!
During this year's Promo Day event on Saturday 5th May I'm doing a webinar about video strategies for authors and thought I'd take it one step further. Starting today, I'll be posting a weekly video creation challenge over the following months. Check back every Tuesday for the latest challenge.
Reasons for doing the video content challenge:
1) I thought it would make a nice extra to my webinar, and help create a group project for those who take part.
2) I thought it would be a fun way to encourage more people to experiment with video.
3) I want to be more consistent in my own video content and this challenge will make me more accountable.
How to take part:
Just check back at www.JoLinsdell.com every Tuesday for the latest video challenge. I'll be sharing my own video for each challenge to give an example of how you could do it (this is, of course, only an example. I hope people will get creative with their own videos). Once you've uploaded your challenge video for the week to YouTube, share the direct url for it in the comments section of the post so we can all give feedback.
Video Content Challenge Week 1
This week's challenge is to upload a video where you introduce yourself and your books.
What a month! April is now behind us and with it the CampNaNoWriMo challenge. I would love to be able to tell you what a productive month it was... unfortunately life threw a bit of everything at me during the month and I fell short of hitting my goal to edit all 240 pages of my novel Do You LIKE Me?
I'm still pleased to have taken part when I could though. At least I can say I'm further along with my manuscript than I was at the start of the month. Slow progress is still progress. I now have a mountain of notes for elements I want to improve too.
How did you do with your challenge for CampNaNoWriMo? Did you collect your winner badge?

Now on to the party!
Time for another check in.
Again life seems to be plotting against me and this challenge. This past week threw a lot of hurdles at me. Between my hospital appointments, a relative dying, my kids various sports training, and then my kids various accidents, this past week has been quite the roller-coaster.
On a more positive note my stitches are healing nicely and the stitches should be gone in about 20 days time (I can't wait!). So glad to be putting this episode behind me. Will be going back for another breast scan in about 5 months time to check on the other cysts they found and make sure they are behaving themselves. For all my girl buddies reading this please make sure you check/get checked regularly. It's so important.
Most of the spare time I've managed to grab this week has been spent on preparations for the upcoming Promo Day event on Saturday 5th May. Needless to say, this week's progress report isn't the good news I was hoping to share with you.
How are you doing so far with your CampNaNoWriMo goals? On schedule to win?
