Although I've been blogging since 2006 I was missing a personal blog where I could share and connect about things happening in my world.

My name is Jo Linsdell and I'm originally from the South of England. I always find it difficult to answer the "where exactly?" question as I've moved around a lot ever since I was little. When I think of 'home' two places come to mind. One is Maidstone (and surrounding area) in Kent and the other is Reading in Berkshire.
In July 2001 I came to Rome, Italy with the intention of staying just 3 days. I'm still here! Yep, a few extra weeks turned in months and then years (it's easier to do than you'd think). I fell in love with a lovely Italian man named Maurizio and in 2006 we got married. We now have two amazing sons together. Matteo who is 4 years old and Lorenzo who is nearly 10 months.
When my kids allow, I'm a writer. I've written various genres over the years and refuse to limit myself to just one area. Published books include Italian for Tourists, A Guide to Weddings in Italy and a children's picture book Out and about at the Zoo. I also do freelance writing and have written articles for numerous publications both on and off-line.

I'm also the founder and organiser of the on-line event for people in the writing industry called Promo Day , which takes place annually in May at Promo Day.
