The Clock Reading Challenge 2022

Making time to read more

Last year I launched the Clock Reading Challenge and it was so much fun I'm doing it again!

The goal: to read 12 books, each with a number from 1 to 12 in the title.

That's just one book for each month of the year so if you're looking for an easy reading challenge this is one for you!

The officially hashtag for the event: #ClockReadingChallenge

Keeping track of your progress: I've created this graphic so you can fill in your clock with the book covers of the books you read. Hopefully at the end of the year your clock will be complete.

  1. should I join? I have been so bad at challenges despite the fact that I read tons of books.. so I will give it some thought but this one tempts me each time because it is just 12 books to track :)

    1. Yes! Join in the fun. It's an easier reading challenge as it's just one book a month. It's amazing how many books have numbers in their titles too.

    1. Awesome! Welcome on board! What books have you picked? I'm still not sure about some of mine. I have a few on my for review TBR list that fit well but still missing books for some of the numbers.

    1. So nice to meet another book blogger from Italy! I'm in Rome ☺️ Looking forward to seeing which books you pick for the challenge. Will you be reading in English or Italian or a mix of both? As the challenge is numbers based either could work.

    2. Oh, that's why you wrote me in Italian :-D
I mainly read in Italian, and my reviews are only in Italian, too.
Anyway, I use to consider the original title, because often in Italy there is the habit of translate it completely different from the original :-/

    3. I've noticed that too 🤔 I don't understand why they do that. A lot of the cover designs are completely different too.

  6. Hi, how do I add my books to the clock?

    1. Just download the clock template and then add your book graphics to it as you read them. I use Canva. It's free and super easy to use. On there just upload the template of the clock and use it as the background of your graphic. Then upload the book covers and insert them in place as you go. Download as jpg.
