Product Review: Skin Bliss Sheet Mask with Pomegrante Extract

If you are looking for a quick pick-me-up for tired, dull skin without breaking the bank, budget sheet masks are always a fun impulse buy. On a recent trip to Action, I picked up the Skin Bliss Sheet Mask with Pomegranate Extract for less than a euro.

I was curious to see if a mask at such a low price point could deliver real hydrating results, and I was pleasantly surprised. Here is my full review of how it performs and why it is well worth adding to your basket.

First Impressions & Application

Opening the pouch, the first thing I noticed was just how generously saturated the sheet mask was. There was an abundant amount of liquid serum inside the packet—so much so that after applying the mask to my face, I still had plenty of product left over to pat onto my neck, décolletage, and hands.

The sheet itself fit comfortably and adhered well to the skin without slipping around while relaxing.

The Results: How Did My Skin Feel?

Pomegranate extract is known in skincare for being rich in antioxidants and vitamins that help revive fatigued skin, and this mask certainly lived up to that promise.

Here is what I noticed after removing it:

• Instant Plump & Glow: My skin looked visibly refreshed, hydrated, and had a healthy, dewy radiance.

• Super Soft & Moisturised: It took away all signs of dryness, leaving my face feeling silky-soft and supple to the touch.

• Sustained Hydration: Thanks to the extra serum left in the pack, I was able to massage the remaining product into my skin for an extra moisture boost that lasted throughout the day.

Final Verdict

The Skin Bliss Pomegranate Extract Sheet Mask is an absolute steal. For less than a euro, it delivers the kind of soft, plump, and glowing skin you would expect from a much more expensive treatment. The excess serum alone makes it feel like a luxury experience on a bargain budget. I will definitely be repurchasing a few more to keep on hand for whenever my skin needs a quick refresh!

Given the price I paid for this face mask it wasn't bad. That said, it wasn't anywhere near as good as some of the other face masks I've tested recently. You can find out more about those in my post The Ultimate Guide to Sheet Masking: My Top Picks for Glowing Skin.

The Hydrating Anti-Age Face Mask is the first one from the Forever You collection that I've tried. Like most sheet face masks, it was easy to use. Whilst it did give a moisture boost to my skin the effects didn't last long. As it was discounted so cheap I'm still glad I bought it and gave it a try but I was expecting something more, especially as it's for 50+ age range and so for older, tired skin (I'm 45).

I will, of course, be trying the other masks I got in the range to see if they work any better. For now, though, I'm not likely to buy this one again, especially if I'd need to pay full price for it.

The Ultimate Guide to Sheet Masking: My Top Picks for Glowing Skin

If there is one skincare ritual that feels like a true "spa day" at home, it’s the sheet mask. Whether you’re winding down after a busy week of blogging or prep-ping your skin for a trip to Rome, a good mask can be a total game-changer.

Over the last few months, I’ve been on a mission to find the masks that actually deliver on their promises. From vegan-friendly options to high-tech Korean collagen, I’ve tested them all so you don’t have to.

If you’re new to the world of masking, or just looking to refresh your routine, here is my curated list of "must-try" masks for every skin need.

1. For Intense Hydration & Recovery

When my skin feels parched or a bit dull, I look for ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid. It’s a humectant, which is a fancy way of saying it’s a magnet for moisture.

I recently tried the Selya Face Mask with Hyaluronic Acid and Coconut. What I loved about this one was the combination of the deep hydration from the acid and the soothing properties of the coconut. You can read my full experience in this Selya Face Mask Review.

2. The K-Beauty Glow (Collagen Boost)

We all know that Korean skincare is leading the way when it comes to innovation. If you’re looking to improve skin elasticity and get that "bouncy" feel, collagen is your best friend.

The Cosmi Premium Skincare Korean Collagen Face Mask is a standout for me. It feels incredibly luxurious and leaves the skin looking remarkably plump. Check out the step-by-step breakdown in my Cosmi Collagen Mask Review.

3. The Two-Step Treatment

Sometimes one mask isn't enough. If you have 15 minutes to spare and want a more "professional" feel, a two-step system is the way to go.

The FRIA MySelf 2 Step Face Mask includes a specific serum or prep step that makes the mask itself work so much harder. It’s perfect for those Sunday night "deep cleans." See how I used it in this FRIA MySelf Review.

4. The Fun & Fruity Vegan Choice

Skincare should be enjoyable! I love a mask that smells great and aligns with my values. If you prefer plant-based beauty, there are some fantastic options out there.

The Go Vegan Fruity Face Sheet Mask (Friday PINK) is a delight. It’s bright, it’s fun, and it’s a great way to kick off the weekend. I’ve shared all the details on the ingredients in this Go Vegan Face Mask Review.

5. The "Pick-Me-Up" for Tired Skin

Lastly, for those days when you just need a quick refresh, the 7 Days Happy Sea Calf Face Mask is a brilliant option. It’s designed to be a quick boost for your complexion, perfect for a mid-week glow-up. You can see the results for yourself in my 7 Days Face Mask Review.

My Top 3 Masking Tips for Beginners

If you want to get the most out of your masks, keep these "Jo’s Pro-Tips" in mind:

• Exfoliate First: Always apply your mask to a clean, exfoliated face. If there’s a layer of dead skin cells in the way, that expensive serum won't be able to sink in!

• Don't Waste the Serum: There is usually a lot of extra liquid left in the packet. I always rub the excess onto my neck and the back of my hands.

• Timing is Key: Don't let the mask dry out completely on your face, or it can actually start pulling moisture out of your skin. 15-20 minutes is usually the "sweet spot."

Which of these masks sounds like it would fit best into your current routine? Let’s chat in the comments!

Review

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the 7 Days Happy Sea Calf Face Mask, which was a lovely gift from my son. It certainly provided a fair bit of entertainment for the whole family; once I applied it, we quickly realised it wasn't just a standard sheet mask—it’s a full animal-print mask!

This "Happy Sea Calf" (which is essentially a cute little seal) is part of a wider collection from 7 Days. The range features an entire zoo of different animals, with each character targeting a specific skincare concern.

Performance and Results This particular mask is designed for deep hydration, promising a moisture boost for tired or dry skin. I am happy to report that it absolutely delivered on its claims. After leaving it on for the recommended time, my skin felt notably smoother, plumped, and thoroughly hydrated. It didn’t leave any sticky residue and the serum absorbed beautifully.

The Verdict If you are looking for an affordable, effective sheet mask to add a touch of "pamper time" to your evening, this is a fantastic option. It strikes a great balance between being effective and just plain fun. I’m certainly intrigued by the rest of the series now and would be very interested to see if the other animals in the collection perform just as well.

It's a brilliant little find—perfect for a bit of self-care or even as a quirky stocking filler for someone who doesn't take their beauty routine too seriously!

Have you tried any of the other animal masks in this 7 Days collection, or do you have a go-to budget sheet mask that never lets you down? I’d love to hear your recommendations in the comments below—especially if they’re as funny as this sea calf!
