Welcome to my stop on the A Bookish Christmas Blog Hop. Today's question is  A book cover that has a wonderfully Christmas feel to it.

A Bookish Christmas: A book cover that has a wonderfully Christmas feel to it.
When I think of Christmas books the first one that springs to mind is The Night Before Christmas by Clemente C. Moore. My family would read it together every Christmas Eve when I was growing up and it's a tradition I do with my own kids too. There are so many different versions of this book, some being text only, others being elaborately illustrated. I personally prefer the illustrated versions.

Here's what the rest of the blog hop team had to say:

Bookishly has released a wonderful exclusive cover for A Christmas Carol that I’m crushing on. I might indulge once I’ve finished the Christmas shopping.

A Match of Sorts by Lucette Nel just released on December 1st and I love the cover! The ornaments, bow, and snow-covered chapel give it the perfect Christmas feel.

Dinosaurs have always been a big hit with my family. Check out the new Jurassic World movie, eh? So, last year, we discovered The Dinosaurs’ Night Before Christmas by Anne Muecke. It was a cute children’s book combining the classic tale with a new dino twist, and it was awesome. Definitely one I’d like to get and read again.

Since the first few books that struck me as having the “elegant, holiday, wintery” kind of aesthetic were ones that had nothing to do with Christmas, I’m going to have to go with Hercule Poirot’s Christmas by Agatha Christie. I absolutely love the Belgian detective, and the story has all of the characteristic scandals and murder and ulterior motives that can only happen in a holiday spectacular brought to you from the Queen of Mystery herself!

  1. Do you have a link anywhere for people who want to join? Or is this just a mini blog hop for your group?
