Books: My thoughts about Lucky Charm by Annabel Chase

Book review for the 4th book in the Spellbound paranormal cosy mystery series.

Emma Hart is back and this time she's juggling the town council acting like children, being turned invisible, trying to work out her love life, and discovering more in her journey of self discovery. Witches, wizards, vampires, fallen angels... another fantastic installment in this paranormal cosy mystery series.

The book synopsis for Lucky Charm by Annabel Chase

Lucky Charm by Annabel Chase book cover

Welcome to Spellbound, where paranormal is the new normal.

New witch Emma Hart is at her wit’s end and, this time, it’s not the result of her vampire ghost roommate, her snarky owl, or her feelings for a certain fallen angel. Key members of Spellbound society are acting like children and it’s wreaking havoc on the town’s regulation-happy infrastructure. When Emma is turned invisible during the investigation, she realizes that the spell was no accident and that someone is out to silence her—permanently.

Lucky Charm is the fourth book in the Spellbound paranormal cozy mystery series.

Discussing Lucky Charm by Annabel Chase

Quotes from Lucky Charm by Annabel Chase

“How long will we put up with his ineptitude? We get the leaders we deserve, I suppose.”

“You're going to wear that?" Gareth asked. It was impossible to miss the criticism in his tone, mainly because he made no effort to disguise it.

I sighed. “She lives next door. In my experience, neighbors don’t eat neighbors.”“In your experience, people don’t have horns and wings either,” Lucy pointed out. Fair enough.

For a vampire with a bad boy reputation, Demetrius seemed surprisingly reasonable and law abiding. Maybe his penchant for bad boy behavior was only tied to his libido.

  • "I think what I enjoyed most about this cozy paranormal mystery is that Emma learns a lot about who she is. She gets to figure out why she's so different from the other witches in Spellbound, and how powerful she could actually be. I feel like because of this her bond with Sedgewick is strengthened. By the way that Owl amuses me. I love sassy side-kicks!" - Read the full review of Lucky Charm by Linz the Bookworm
