Have you ever stood on the precipice of an adventure, your toes dangling over the edge, just one powerful gust of wind away from crashing towards a wholly unexpected fate? That’s how I felt as the taxi drove through the Connecticut forest laden with brilliant leaves of oranges and yellows that heralded the start of my newest adventure. I was lucky.
