Welcome to the first Bloggers Weekend Link Up Party!
Recently I've been looking for some link up parties to join and to be honest I didn't find that many. At least not for the categories I blog in. I mainly found food and craft related ones. My blog topics include; books, blogging, travel, health and fitness, and sometimes home and garden or fashion and beauty.
So, I've decided to create one of my own and you're all invited to take part!
I'm also in talks with some other bloggers who are thinking about creating their own link up parties on their blogs too so as soon as I have more information on that I'll let you know. Our aim is to have a different link up party for each day of the week.
Why you should take part
Blog comments are part of off-page SEO. A healthy backlink profile will have a mix of Do-Follow and No-Follow backlinks. Through blog commenting you're creating link placement on a domain other than your own and, whilst blog comments tend to offer No-Follow backlinks, they can help improve the overall authority of your blog especially if on a website with a high DA score.

Keyword-rich comments contribute to a page’s content and can therefore help with rankings.
Posting thoughtful comments on blog posts can get you noticed by a new audience and drive traffic to your own blog.
Link up parties are also a great way to connect with other bloggers and discover new blogs.

DeleteWhat a fabulous idea! Thanks so much for doing this. I keep thinking about hosting one, but I think I'm spread a little too thin right now. But, I'm sure happy to share yours. Gina Here’s a link to my weekly Friday Finds. https://ginaraemitchell.com/weekly-friday-finds-04-19-2024/
ReplyDeleteThanks Gina. I'm hoping it will grow each week as more bloggers find out about it. If you do set up your own link up please let me know and I'll link up to it from the weekly post I do to help spread the word. Suitable link up parties aren't so easy to find these days.
