May was a hectic month (when is life not hectic?) as we're in full exam prep mode here. Life has been and still is super busy with end of year school stuff. The 8th June was the last day of the school year here. Then later this month my eldest has his exams đŸ˜¬ After that we're on school holidays until mid-September. Yep, 3 months of summer break!

Although I didn't make huge progress with my challenges I'm super happy about how they are progressing so far. I'm also still on course to complete them all by the end of the year.

The Blog Audit Challenge 2021

The May Challenges were focused on external links.  I did quite well with this and got hosted on three sites in a variety of posts:

Must Read Posts from Our Favorite Book Bloggers at https://bitchbookshelf.com/2021/06/05/must-read-posts-from-our-favorite-book-bloggers/ which included one of my book review posts in the round up.

Pinterest Tips for Book Bloggers: How To Use Pinterest To Drive Traffic to Your Book Blog at https://www.bexbooksandstuff.com/post/guest-post-by-jo-linsdell-book-blogger-and-reviewer which was a guest post I wrote for the site.

Book Blogging and what goes into it: An Interview with Jo Linsdell at https://www.meotherwise.com/book-blogger-interview-jo-linsdell-reviewer/ where I was interviewed about my experience as a book blogger.

I would love to do more of these so if you want to host me on your book blog please get in touch.

The Social Media Audit Challenge

For this challenge I'm concentrating on social media. The May focus was on measuring results.

I'm really pleased with how my challenge is going so far. In May I hit a new personal best for views to this blog reaching 32,089 in the one month đŸ¥³ My previous PB was 30,189.

I've also seen an increase in followers on my social media accounts this year and more engagement too. So, needless to say, I'm super happy with my results so far.

The Clock Reading Challenge

I created the Clock Reading Challenge as I thought it would be fun and not too difficult to complete.
