The Tag

NAME A BOOK WRITTEN BY AN AUTHOR CALLED MICHAEL

Micheal Crichton. His book State of Fear has been on my shelf waiting for me read it and has been for a while now.

NAME A BOOK WITH A DRAGON ON THE COVER

Eragon by Christopher Paolini. The only book that comes to mind. I don't really read many books with dragons. This is one I've been wanting to read since I watched the film with my kids though but for some reason never have.

NAME A BOOK WRITTEN BY AN AUTHOR WITH THE SURNAME SMITH

Miranda Smith. I just requested her book The Family Home on Net Galley so this one was easy to answer. Fingers crossed I get approved as I likes the sounds of this one.

NAME A BOOK SET IN AUSTRALIA

I'm struggling with this one. Apparently I don't read many books set in Australia. If anyone has any suggestions please leave a comment with info.

NAME A BOOK WITH THE NAME OF A MONTH IN THE TITLE

Every Day in December by Kitty Wilson. I read this one at the start of the year. You can read my review here.

NAME A BOOK WITH A KNIFE ON THE COVER

A Game of Thrones by George RR Martin? Although that might be a sword as opposed to a knife... does that still count? đŸ¤” Another that is sat on my bookshelf waiting for me to read it...

Game of Thrones by George RR Martin

NAME A BOOK WITH THE WORD ‘ONE’ IN THE TITLE

So many to pick for this as there are a surprising number of books with one in the title as I've discovered through the Clock Reading Challenge. One Tequila by Tricia O'Malley is the one I read for the challenge last year. You can read my review here.

NAME A BOOK WITH AN EPONYMOUS TITLE

The Picture of Dorian Grey? Would the Harry Potter series count as they all have his name in the titles?

If we're going for just the name maybe Oliver Twist (my youngest started reading it this week so immediately popped into my head). William Shakespeare did several eponymous titles so; Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Macbeth. Emma by Jane AustenRobinson Crusoe by Daniel DefoeCoraline by Neil GaimanCarrie by Stephen King... I've opened Pandora's box with this one so I'll stop myself here. Too many are coming to mind đŸ˜‚

NAME A BOOK TURNED INTO A MOVIE

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes is the first to come to mind. I was obsessed with the series and even though if wasn't as good as the book I did enjoy the movie. You can find my trivia quiz here, more details on why I'm obsessed with this series here, my thoughts about book vs film here, and my review of the book here.

  4. This looks like a fun challenge. I have a terrible memory so I think I would fail this one but I do have a lot of books on my blog set in Australia written by Aussie authors.
