Welcome to the October Book Bloggers Round Up!
Finding the time to scan through various social media feeds to find suitable content can take up valuable time and so I figured I'd make it easier and put together a collection here on the blog.
Each month I'll include a wide variety of content so there's something for everyone. You'll find book reviews, interviews, discussion pieces and more...
So if you're looking for new bookish content to read and/or want to discover some new book bloggers to follow, look no further!
I introduced this new feature here on the blog in May 2021 to showcase blog posts by other book bloggers. I'll be linking up a variety of blog posts so hopefully there will be something to suit all tastes.
The following posts were submitted for inclusion in this round up via my Twitter, where I asked for posts. I'll be continuing to do this every month.
Want to be included in future round ups? Follow my Twitter profile and keep an eye out for the submission tweet.
October 2023 Book Blogger Round Up
@alitescape reviewed Kissing Kosher by Jean Meltzer. "Overall, though, I enjoyed KISSING KOSHER. It was an easy read with plenty of Jewish and chronic illness representation. You might also get a bit jealous that you don’t have your own challah or babka to munch on while reading this book. If you’re looking to diversify your reading, definitely pick up this rivals-to-lovers contemporary romance." Read the full review here.
@DanSamEnd reviewed A Winter In New York by Josie Silver. "If you’re looking for a feel-good read with heart, humour and lovable characters, this is the book for you. I was so caught up in the story and beautiful world created that I didn’t want it to end!". Read the full review here.

Follow London's newest detective, Enola Holmes, in her electrifying fifth escapade - from the series that inspired the film, starring Millie Bobby Brown.
While on the run from her brother Sherlock, the world's most famous detective, Enola Holmes has been hiding in plain sight, lodging with Mrs Tupper.
Mrs Tupper may be half-deaf and a terrible cook, but she is the closest thing Enola has to a family. So when she discovers that her dear land lady has been abducted, Enola is shocked but determined to find out why. Especially when she finds cryptic codes within a crinoline underskirt in Mrs Tupper's upturned room. . .
But who could have taken Mrs Tupper? And why do all the clues lead to Florence Nightingale?
It's another gripping case for our young heroine in this enthralling fifth mystery.
Want to know what others thought about this book? Check out these book reviews:
"Can’t quite put my finger on why I was unmoved by this story because on paper it’s exactly the type of book I’d enjoy: strong teen protagonist making their way in the world." - Engrossed Reader
"For the adventure lovers, there is plenty here as Enola continues to escape her brother by jumping through windows on a tree, or brings her dagger out to confront a bully twice her size. While the code lovers have something to enjoy too. This time, Enola decrypts a code written in embroidery by linking its symbols to the Morse code!!" - ThinkerViews
