This is book nine in the Spellbound series, which I’ve been absolutely loving.
I’ve reviewed all the previous books, so I’m assuming you’re up to date with the series.
You really do need to read these books in order, as the overarching story line builds throughout.
Our protagonist, Emma, is currently busy planning her wedding.
She’s also taken on a new client who’s been charged with trespassing.
On top of that, there’s a dead pixie, and Emma needs to uncover what happened before she becomes the next victim.
There’s a lot going on in this one, and I really enjoyed it.
For me, this whole series has been a solid four-star read across the board.
I adore the characters, the town, and the wide variety of paranormals — not just the usual vampires and pixies, but plenty of others too.
The ongoing curse over Spellbound continues to develop, and they’re slowly making progress in lifting it.
I believe the next book is the final one in the series, and you can definitely feel the story building towards that conclusion.
Despite that, there’s still plenty happening to keep things interesting.
Overall, it’s been a really enjoyable read — light, fun, and full of charm.
If you enjoy cozy paranormal mysteries with a touch of clean romance, this series is definitely worth checking out.
I’ve had a few favourite characters since the beginning, and they continue to shine for me even now.
The books are quick reads with plenty of different elements to keep you hooked.
