August Challenges
Our focus for August is on technical errors.
Technical errors like broken links can have a negative effect on how Google ranks your site and damage your overall DA score.
The August challenges:
1. Fix broken links
Links are “broken” when they point to a page that no longer exists or can’t be found. This usually results in a 404 error page.
Broken internal links make it harder for Google to crawl your website’s pages. If a page has a broken link, Google can’t find the next page. It can also signal to Google that your website isn’t properly optimized, which may hurt your rankings. - Semrush
To check for broken links you can use a Broken Link Checker. There are several different ones available for free that are easy to find on Google. Try this Free Broken Link Checker by ahrefs. You just insert your blog url and it will tell you which pages have broken links on them.
