June 2024 Book Blogger Round Up

Book Blogger Posts Round Up

A collection of blog posts by book bloggers

Disclosure: The FTC Disclosure Provision is a law that requires influencers to disclose when they are being paid to promote a product or service. Welcome back for another Book Bloggers Round Up!

I introduced this feature here on the blog in May 2021 to showcase blog posts by other book bloggers and as it continues to be a popular series I've decided to continue again this year too.

Each month I'll include a wide variety of content so there's something for everyone. You'll find book reviews, interviews, discussion pieces and more...

So if you're looking for new bookish content to read and/or want to discover some new book bloggers to follow, look no further!

Why I do this feature:

Scanning through various social media feeds to find suitable content can take up valuable time and so I figured I'd make it easier and put together a collection here on the blog.

It's also a way for me to highlight some of the other great book bloggers out there and help promote books and reading at the same time.

How it works:

Each month I do a post via my Twitter, where I offer the opportunity for book bloggers to submit posts published during that month for inclusion in this round up. I do this every month.

Want to be included in future round ups? Follow my Twitter profile and keep an eye out for the submission tweet.

About the book

Book synopsis for The Templar Sword by Sam Clarke

The Templar Sword by Sam Clarke book cover
An ancient sword has been missing for centuries. Recovering it would prove Noah's worth to his father and earn him a place at the Clearview Templar Academy.

When he stumbles across a Renaissance painting that holds a clue to the sword’s location, Noah’s dream seems within reach. As the death toll quickly mounts, it becomes apparent that others are hunting the sword – for far more evil ends. The future of the Templars, very much like Noah’s, is at stake.

Together with his friend Viggo and mischievously attractive Isabelle, Noah embarks on the deadliest quest of his life. The sword’s dangerous trail will take them from the canals of Venice, to the spires of Seville, to a gripping showdown in the underwater caves of the Caribbean.

A fresh, original adventure story. Can be read as a standalone novel or as the sequel to The Twelfth Ring.

Ideal for fans of Outerbanks, Indiana Jones, and Uncharted.

Rome Retail Therapy

I love going shopping, and by shopping I'm not talking the weekly food shop. I mean fun shopping; clothes, shoes, accessories... the good stuff!

Rome has a lot of different shops to offer and something to fit most budgets.

There's no way our budget currently allows me the privilege of high fashion designer brands but sometimes it's nice to pretend and have an Audrey Hepburn moment.

Designer Boutiques

If you're looking for Tiffany's and the other best of the best designer boutiques you'll be sure to want to visit Via Dei Condotti (known simply as Via Condotti) during your time in Rome.

One of the most expensive streets in Europe, Via Condotti is packed with a wide variety of designer boutiques. Luckily for the non rich and famous window shopping costs nothing.

Talking of the rich and famous, as the can imagine, it's not uncommon to see celebrities shopping on Via Condotti. Granted, the usually end up closing the store to the general public during their shopping trip but you might get the chance to see them coming in and out.

Via Condotti is located at the base of the steps in Piazza Di Spagna and runs down to connect with Via Del Corso (another shopping street but with a bit more main stream shops mixed in).

The nearest Metro is Spagna on the orange A line.

Unleash Your Inner Fashionista

Home to big names like; Prada, Dior, Cartier, Bvlgari, Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Rolex, Gucci, Max Mara, Jimmy Choo and more, Via Condotti offers great inspiration for any fashionista.

As you might expect, some of the window displays can be quite impressive. Dior in particular usually has eye catching designs. Currently they have animals made out of shells as part of their decor.
