My Year in Reading

All the Books I read in 2021

2021 was quite the year... and not all of it in a good way unfortunately.

Myself and my family are currently quarantined again as my husband tested positive for COVID. Luckily it's just my husband and myself who have symptoms and the kids are both fine.

This is not our first time unfortunately. Throughout the year we've had to quarantine and test several times.

I've also lost loved ones this year, and had several health problems that have stopped me in my tracks.

The hashtag #TheStruggleIsReal was made for years like this.

Anyway this isn't a pity party. Stuff happens, then more stuff happens... it's life. This too shall pass...until the next thing... and that will pass too.

In the meantime we have books to set our world to rights, or at least offer a little escape.

Whilst I haven't been able to read as much as I would have liked this year (I very rarely do... because, well, life), 2021 wasn't a bad reading year.

This is all the books I read throughout 2021:

My Year in Reading: All the Books I read in 2021

What books stood out for you this year? Did you read more or less than you planned?

  1. I hope your husband recovers quickly. I'm so sorry 2021 (and 2020) were difficult for you. I am really hoping 2022 looks better for all of us.

I can't say I've read any of these books, though I would love to revisit the Shopaholic series! I think I read the first two or three during my senior year of high school or freshman year of college. I really enjoyed them, but that was clearly some time ago!
