As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm taking part in the RhyPiBoMo challenge this month.
Some excellent blog posts from this week at https://angiekarcher.wordpress.com. Here are my favourites:
Day 17 Miranda Paul - Very interesting piece about rhythmic non-fiction.
Day 18 Lori Mortensen - Good points about the importance of having a good story arch.
- Day 19 Rene’ Diane Aube- This was one of my favourites so far this month. Loved her storyboard ideas.
Read this week:
My favourite read from this week was "JULIA LOVES DOLLS (Adorable, Rhyming Bedtime Story/Picture Book for Beginner Readers About Sharing and Birthdays, Ages 2-8)" by Sally Huss.
Other stuff:
I also came across this article at http://picturebookden.blogspot.it/2012/03/how-not-to-write-rhyming-picture-book.html that looks at how *NOT* to write a rhyming picture book.
Are you taking part in RhyPiBoMo too? What was your favourite book from this week?
If you're doing the challenge I hope you'll consider reading my rhyming children's picture story books; Out and About at the Zoo, and Fairy May.
Thank you, so much, Jo! I'm flabbergasted to receive such a compliment. :0
