Hidden Pearl is an unforgettable true story about a "hidden child" and her family during WW2. It was the most desperate of times when people were facing many dangers on a daily basis. This story is about courage, hope and resilience. Perfect for YA or Adult. Award-winning author J.E. Laufer of "Choices - The True Story of One Family's Daring Escape to Freedom"

    1. It was both emotional and thought provoking, but so good. Very much like The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank (although in this case it deals with running away and hiding children in plain sight or in the woods where as Anne Frank was hidden in a house). Books like this should definitely be on school reading lists.
