5.0 out of 5 stars Jo
Linsdell Makes Virtual Book Tours Easy!
By Skye
"Nobody ever made money writing a book - only by selling it." -Brian
Jud
From the start of that quote to the end of the book, I
was caught like a fish on the end of the line, being drawn in to the fisherman.
When I began reading, I knew nothing about virtual
book tours. Nada. Absolutely nothing.
Now, not only do I understand them better, but I feel
that I might be able to attempt one myself closer to the time I publish my own
work. Jo uses simple, clear vocabulary to discuss book tours and everything
needed to complete one of your own as well as gives information about what kind
of tours there are, and how to go about setting one up.
From the full definition and description of virtual
book tours to discussions about what to include in a "media kit" -
something I have never heard about before reading this book - Jo shows how easy
and (most importantly) how rewarding a virtual book tour can be.
If you're interested in doing or hosting a virtual
book tour or, like me, need to discover what it actually is, pick up a copy of
this book. You'll be glad you did!

Virtual Book Tour is a must have book
for any author or poet that has published a book in the past or plans on
publishing one in the future and is wanting information, tips and links that
help plan their next Virtual Book Tour…
Jo Linsdell has written some of the
greatest ideas, tips and information on how to hold a winning book tour.
I would recommend this book to all my
author and poet friends…
Virtual Book Tours is well structured,
easy to read, and it makes learning about blog tours seamless. You will
understand what a tour is, how to determine your target audience, how to set
your goals, how to find hosts, schedule stops, promote your tour, and,
extremely important, how to measure results.
If you haven’t been on a tour and have
no idea where to start, this book will definitely explain it all for you. If
you have some idea about what’s what, Virtual Book Tours will clarify
everything for you and give you the resources you need. If you’ve even
organized tours, this book will help you do it better the next time around.
I highly recommend you try it,
regardless of your experience with virtual blog tours for books of any kind.

I love books like this that tell you
exactly how to do things and then give you tons of resources at the end to put
everything into motion. This is a must-read for authors who want to use this
relatively new method of promoting their books. It is simple and
straightforward, with step-by-step instructions. I will refer to it many times
as I promote my own books and those of my clients.
