This week has been another busy one (I'm starting to wonder about whether I'll ever have a week that's not a busy one). Between snow days (yes it actually snowed in Rome!), the kids being ill, and school strikes/closures, my kids seem to be spending more time at home than at school recently. It was fun building snowmen, and having snowball fights though. The kids loved it, and better yet it only lasted a couple of days. A beautiful winter wonderland that disappeared as quickly as it came. This is good news because I have another busy week ahead of me and everything will be much easier to do without having to fight the snow.
Exciting things first... today is my author event at Infinite Parentesi Bookstore! I'm a big mess of excitement and nervous, but I'm sure it'll be loads of fun and promise to report back with all the behind the scenes details soon.
Next I should probably update you all on my health situation as I've received a few messages asking how things are going. I had another breast ultrasound this week and discovered a have quite a few cysts in addition to the solid one on the surface. Most are micro cysts though and so will probably go away by themselves in time. I'll be taking the scans to the hospital with me for my appointment next week so the doctors will let me know more then.
