On My Shelf
This week's pick
Francis Ackerman is America’s most terrifying serial killer. Brutal and cunning, he is ready to take his evil games to a new level.
NEW THREATS
Special Agent Marcus Williams cannot shake Ackerman from his mind. Yet now he must focus on catching the Anarchist, a new killer who abducts women before burning them alive.
HIDDEN TERRORS
The Anarchist will strike again soon. And Ackerman is still free. But even worse than this is a mysterious figure, unknown to the authorities - and his plans are more terrible than anyone imagines.

I love this idea, Sorry if I have missed the previous episodes of it. I'll to check them out on Youtube.
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Cia. I only recently started doing this series. I wanted to give some love to the books sat on my shelves (those on my tbr and others I've had a while).
DeleteOh my, what a villian, this one sounds intense
ReplyDeleteEthan Cross writes the best villains. They can be the most evil person you can imagine and yet he gives them qualities that make you feel sorry for them. He has mastered the art of creating what I call grey characters. No one is ever 100% evil and he makes sure his characters aren't either, making them seem even more real.
DeleteAngels and Demons has been on my TBR forever. Have you read Daniel Cole? Amazing crime based thrillers.
ReplyDeleteAngels and Demons has been on my tbr for far too long. No, I've not read Daniel Cole. Going to look him up now though 😉
DeleteI haven't read anything by Ethan Cross. But I love a good villain.
ReplyDeleteEthan Cross is one of my favourite authors. I highly recommend his work if you enjoy thrillers. His books are always full of action, twists, and great characters.... sorry, fangirl moment 😉😂
DeleteSounds like my kind of book!
ReplyDeleteIt's really good. The whole series is awesome.
DeleteUuh, creepy cover! But I love your videos :-)
ReplyDeleteI've seen several different covers for this book but this one is my favourite and, I think, catches the tone of the book best.
DeleteThis book sounds amazing! Also, how did I not know that you did Booktube?!? I definitely just subscribed :) This YouTube series is a great idea! Love it.
ReplyDeleteAww thanks for subscribing to my channel. You're the best 😚 Maybe you can be a guest on my channel sometime. Would love to have you on.
DeleteI was looking for bookish videoes to watch just the other day and I didn't know you did them. I will subscribe right away. Good work.
