Blog Audit Challenge 2020

The Challenges:
January- Plan of action
February- Information pages

April- Design
May- SEO
June- Links
July- Quality content
August- Content gaps
September- Developing readership
October- Get social
November- Press and collaborations
December- Know your stats
Monthly link ups
In order to keep us all on track, and give us a way to see each others progress, I'll be hosting link ups on the first Saturday of every month where participants can share their links and discuss their progress.

July Challenges
Our focus for July is on quality content.
The good news is that we've already been working on this a bit over the past few months. Between updating our design, SEO, and links, we've already improved the quality of our blog posts. Now it's time to get down to the meat of the content though.

The July challenges:
1. Determine whether your older posts meet your current standards.
Is the information included in your blog posts up to date? Have your older blog posts become outdated or irrelevant?
Delete or update any blog posts that no longer fit with your current standards. You may also want to rewrite parts of certain blog posts to make sure they match your current voice and style.

I've only just discovered this challenge - the posts contain some really sound advice. I've been revisiting my old posts and updating them gradually. The early ones really are embarrassing.....
ReplyDeleteGreat! Welcome to the Blog Audit Challenge! Happy to have you with us. I've been cringing at some of my earlier blog posts too. It's actually a good thing though as it shows how much we've grown and improved over time.
