I decided to dye my hair again. Shocker, I know! If you've been here before you'll know that I love experimenting with my hair and I'm always trying out different colours. 

This time I found Fashion Professional Oil & Shine 7.1 Hair Dye on offer at Action for just €2,98 and so figured I'd give it a try and see if it was possible to get a good dye job done for such a small price.

This one was a miss for me. I guess I got what I paid for. I should say that had it worked this would have been the find of the year for sure at the price I paid for it. 

Given that my starting colour was pretty much the same as the middle tone on the box I was expecting to end up a dark blonde. 

Maybe it would have had a better result if my starting colour had been a bit lighter. The box said it would lighten any shade though so it was definitely a fail this time. 

It really didn't make much difference to the overall colour of my hair and didn't cover the white at all. After dying my hair not a single person believed I'd dyed it. The change was that subtle. 

The only positive thing I can say about this is that it did leave my hair feeling super soft so it wasn't a complete loss. 

This is the before and after. As you can see there is hardly any difference at all to the colour of my hair.

I did decide to cut my hair a bit though as it's super hot here still and it was annoying me. Nothing too drastic this time. Just a few cms off the ends.
