Towards the end of last year, I discovered I had started my journey with perimenopause, and it made me realize how little this topic is discussed.

At just 44 years old, I was surprised to learn that my ovaries were no longer ovulating regularly. Like many, I assumed menopause was something that only affected women over 50. But the reality is that menopause can begin much earlier than expected.

This led me to an important question:
When do women start thinking about menopause?

If mine had started after 50, would I have been any more prepared? Honestly, probably not.

Despite the fact that menopause can last for years and comes with a wide range of symptoms, it remains a topic that many people avoid discussing.

The Importance of Menopause Education

To better understand what was happening in my body, I decided to do some research and find the best books about menopause. Whether you're in your 30s, 40s, or 50s, it's never too early to educate yourself.
