Today marks the final day of the Drawlloween challenge. It's been a fun month of Halloween inspired sketching. I've drawn some things I never would have thought of drawing without the prompts from this challenge. I've also discovered loads of amazing artists, and made new connections through taking part in this challenge. Some of which, even invited me to take part in some illustration contests (I'll be looking more into those). As today is the last day I thought I'd post the whole collection here in the one place, so you can see all of this months sketches together.

I love Twitter. It's one of the best social media sites for making new connections, and also for opportunities.
Over the past few weeks I've been tweeting lots about my preparations for the November challenges, and have had a lot of feedback from other writers, and bloggers. One of these bloggers was Laura Hedgecock from The Road Less Written. Laura invited me to guest post on her site about how I am preparing for the November writing challenges. Of course, I agreed.
I share insight into my preparation for the NaNoWriMo, WNFIN, and PiBoIdMo challenges.

Comments and feedback are encouraged ;)
NaNoWriMo is just days away. Amongst all the excitement for the kick off of the challenge there is also feelings of panic that come when you realised you've signed up to write 50K in just 30 days.
Keep calm!
It's not as bad as your over-active writers imagination is tricking you into to thinking it is. 50K in 30 days is in fact just 1,667 words a day. That already sounds more doable right?
As breaking it down into daily, bite-sized chunks can do wonders for relieving 50K freak outs, I've create a NaNoWriMo Word Count Tracker, and I'm giving it away to you, my loyal readers, free of charge. I'm good to you aren't I? ;)
It's a calendar format for the month of November, where you'll find your word count goal labeled on each day. There is also space for you to pencil in your daily word count so you can make sure you're on track for hitting your end of month goal of 50K.

You can find my illustrations for this challenge on Instagram, Pinterest, on Facebook, and of course, here on the blog.

Quick Tips For Authors
Quick Tips: Bringing you tips, tricks, and strategies in bite-sized format to help you build your author brand, and market your books.
This week's quick tip
This weeks "Quick Tip" is to send review copies to Bloggers. Bloggers work on building communities and s such tend to have a good reach. This makes them the perfect people to help spread the word about your book(s). Find Bloggers that fit the right niche for your book and ask them if they would be interested in/ send them a free review copy.
Bloggers that then post a good review to their blog are also likely to post the review to other sites too e.g. Amazon, Goodreads, etc...
Are you a blogger? Want to feature one of my books on your blog? Drop me an email and I'll be happy to organise an e-copy for review. I also have media kits for all of my books that can be used for book spotlights and features should you not have time for a review.
You can find a full list of all my published titles on the My Books page.
I've done several webinars over the years and thought I'd share some of the replays here all in the one place.
Self Publishing a Children's Book
PD15 webinar replay: Visual Content for Authors
PD14 webinar replay: How to be Twittertastic
PD13 webinar replay: How Writers Can Use Google+
What topic would you like me to do a webinar about next?
