December continued to be dominated by health issues. A lot of hospital visits and tests over the course of the month. The last visit on 22nd December was a turning point. New doctor was brilliant. Not only did he take his time to explain everything to me step by step for all the different meds I'm on and the various other tests I need to do and when, but he also changed some of my meds. The new combination of meds finally made a huge difference. The best I've felt since the start of November. It cleared up some issues and others are less now too. I'm still not well but it's an improvement.

Blogging

Due to my health issues I didn't manage to post as much as usual in December. I also did less promoting than I would normally do.

One thing I did do which made a big difference was to schedule some pins for Pinterest to go out throughout the month and some tweets for Twitter (X).

Traffic for December: 33,837 pageviews

Total number of blog posts published in December: 12

Current DA Score: 32

Reading Challenges

Between health issues and Christmas I didn't do much reading in December.

The Clock Reading Challenge

I created the Clock Reading Challenge a few years ago as I thought it would be fun and not too difficult to complete.

If you need some help finding books for the challenge check out Books with Numbers 1-12 in the Title: Clock Reading Challenge.

I completed the Clock Reading Challenge 2023 in November. The good news is you can now join in the Clock Reading Challenge 2024

The Net Galley TBR Reading Challenge

I wasn't successful in clearing my Net Galley TBR in 2023 but I did tick a lot of books off my list during the year. I also added several new books to my TBR for 2024.

Current feedback ratio: 85%

Other books read:

Dr. Who - The Stone Rose by Jacqueline Rayner - My Review - Amazon - Goodreads

Currently reading:

Don't Read The Last Page by Catherine Downen - Currently at 35% - Amazon - Goodreads

Travel

No travel in December as my health just wasn't up to it. Hospital visits was the limit of my going out and about for the month.

Fitness

Again, not much to report here. Towards the end of the month I tried to start moving more at home. I'm trying to avoid too much sitting. I've been far too sedentary and so making a point of getting up and stretching more often. Hoping my health will allow me to be much more active during 2024. Finger crossed the doctors can get to the bottom of all my health problems and work out a solution to keeping them under control.
