You're library looks great. Our local one is very office like and boring.
ReplyDeleteThe larger, adult libraries are boring here too but I love this children's library. It's got such a happy vibe to it. Libraries should be magical places that encourage the imagination. I would love for adult libraries to follow the example of this one.
DeleteYour library looks so cute!
ReplyDeleteIt is. I love how colourful it is. More importantly the kids love it. I thunk the atmosphere helps the kids get excited about books and reading.
DeleteThe university I study at has a great library. I love going there and being with the books😂
ReplyDeleteI love just being in a library. It makes me feel relaxed being around so many books.
DeleteYou library looks so cheerful. I love that they have parenting books too.
ReplyDeleteThe parents section is upstairs and has a good selection of books on parenting, pregnancy, and education in general.
DeleteOh, how adorable!
ReplyDeleteThis library is one of our favourite places. The kids got certificates last year for reading out loud to groups of children. They host lots of readings and cultural events. They sometimes mix music with readings too. One of the librarians plays guitar. They have baby dance sessions and meditation for mums to be, and a whole host of other events on their calendar.
DeleteThis library looks amazing! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWe're really lucky to have such a good library so close to our house 😊
DeleteThanx for the tour - I haven't been in a library in ages!
ReplyDeleteI miss my old library in the UK. It was so good. This one is super cute though. Great for the kids. I'm dying to tryout some of the other, bigger, libraries here in Rome. Maybe once the kids are back to school in September.
DeleteI like the look of that library. I live in a village and the library is small and outdated but the staff are lovely and helpful and it still has a good atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteCan they still order in books from other libraries for you? A lot of libraries offer digital books now too. Another feature I still need to use at ours.
DeleteLooks so cute and inviting!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? We went again today. Kids have been reading all afternoon :)
DeleteI wish I could have that big book decoration in my own house, so cool!
ReplyDeleteI think the same thing every time we go there.
DeleteI love it. I love our local Library a well, we pretty much live for the summer activities and are usually in their 4 days out of the week.
ReplyDeleteWe go once a week. I'd love to be able to go to more of the events ours host. They do everything from baby dance, to singing, to cooking. They have an ongoing project at the moment called Around the World. They host it once a month and each time feature a different country and teach the kids about the culture, language, etc... with a special guest from that country to answer questions.
DeleteThis is so cute! I love the idea of a child-specific library!
ReplyDeleteThis one is special as it's specifically for kids. There are other libraries here in Rome that have a children's section though. I like that they have a themed library just for them though.
DeleteIt's such a cute library and the whole atmosphere really helps get the kids excited about reading.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute and beautiful library I absolutely love it, yes I do have a local library just a few blocks where I live at I used to walk to the library every time. But now I can't walk to my local library anymore because of my bad knee and ankle, so I just tell my mom to take me there. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome post.
ReplyDeleteSorry your knee and ankle have been giving you trouble. Yay for super mums that come to the rescue ;) I love having a library within walking distance from where we live.
