Must Read Children's Books

Must Read Children's Books: Recommended by Book Bloggers

I recently did a post sharing some must read books recommended by some of my book blogger buddies. If you missed the post you can find it here: http://www.jolinsdell.com/2018/05/must-read-books-recommended-by-book.html.

Today I wanted to do the same thing but for children's books. I'm a mum of two boys, and an author and illustrator of children's picture story books, so this is something I'm passionate about. You can find my children's books on my Amazon author page ;)

There are so many awesome books out there for kids. Kidlit is also an extra special genre as it helps create future readers and a love of literature.

I've reviewed numerous children's books here on the blog. Some of my favourites include; Spoon, Once Upon An Ordinary School Day, and pretty much anything and everything by Julia Donaldson. I wanted to find some new good books for children though and so asked my book blogging buddies to share a children's book they gave a 5 star review to.

Best Children's Books

Here's the books they recommended:

    1. I love how colourful children's books are but saying that my absolute favourite is Spoon and it's not really colourful at all. Mainly grey.

    1. We LOVE Julia Donaldson in our house. I think I know most of her books off by heart. The Gruffalo has been a favourite for years, but others like Stickman, Broom on the Broom, and Superworm are all good too. I don't think she's published a book we didn't like.

    1. If you have to pick just one to read, make it Spoon. Seriously the best children's picture story book.
