On My Net Galley TBR List
As the year is coming to an end, and I still have way to many books on my Net Galley TBR, I thought I'd showcase them all for you today.

The Daemoniac (A Dominion Mystery, #1) by Kat Ross
Mystery & Thrillers , Teens & YA
About the book:
It’s August of 1888, just three weeks before Jack the Ripper will begin his grisly spree in the London slum of Whitechapel, and another serial murderer is stalking the gas-lit streets of New York. With taunting messages in backwards Latin left at the crime scenes and even more inexplicable clues like the fingerprints that appear to have been burned into one victim’s throat, his handiwork bears all the hallmarks of a demonic possession.
But consulting detective Harrison Fearing Pell is convinced her quarry is a man of flesh and blood. Encouraged by her uncle, Arthur Conan Doyle, Harry hopes to make her reputation by solving the bizarre case before the man the press has dubbed Mr. Hyde strikes again.
From the squalor of the Five Points to the high-class gambling dens of the Tenderloin and the glittering mansions of Fifth Avenue, Harry and her best friend, John Weston, follow the trail of a remorseless killer, uncovering a few embarrassing secrets of New York’s richest High Society families along the way. Are the murders a case of black magic—or simple blackmail? And will the trail lead them closer to home than they ever imagined?

I'm about half way through this one at the moment and so far enjoying it. If you like Sherlock Holmes tales you might like this one.
Other books on my Net Galley TBR
Do you still have a lot of books on your Net Galley TBR? How do you organise your Net Galley books? Do you limit yourself on the number of books you get at once?
I always try to keep my TBR on Net Galley under control but it's so hard to say no and turn away from all these awesome looking books. The struggle is real people!
One of my New Years Resolutions for 2019 is definitely to clear my Net Galley TBR and only request/grab one book at a time on there.
I've heard of readers who can keep their NetGalleys to read-one-request-one, but I thought it was just an urban myth! I'm up to date with reviews at the moment though several are due in the New Year so I'm hoping to get ahead of myself in the next couple of weeks. Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed by readers who can keep their Net Galleys to read-one-request-one. Seriously, how do they do it?! That's my goal though... not sure how realistic a goal it is but it's the thought that counts right? ;) It takes strong willpower to not add more books whenever I log in.
