On My Shelf is a series to showcase some of the books that are sat on my shelves. Each Sunday I randomly pick a book from my shelves to show you. Some will be books that are on my TBR, others will be books I've read in the past but that deserve a little love.

This week's pick

This week I picked Consequences of the Heart by Peter Cunningham

On My Shelf: Consequences of the Heart by Peter Cunningham
D-Day on a Normandy beach. A flip of a coin seals the destinies of two men in love and war. From one of Ireland's finest writers, Consequences of the Heart is an epic story of passion and fate, of cowardice and bravery, of adultery and of murder.

My husband is currently reading a Band of Brother's books - we love the mini series they made for TV - and we're both quite interested in books like this.

  7. Sounds very intense. I've made the decision to try and make sure that my TBR list as it stood at the end of 2018 is completed. I tend to add more books and then push others down the list. I'm also reducing the amount of tours I'm participating in this year too.

    1. I'm going to be more selective about the books I add to my TBR this year. I really want to get through my backlist too.
