September is my birthday month and it did not disappoint. Crazy hectic, lots of fun, and exciting new milestones.
I'd just like to take a moment to say thank you to each and every one of you that sent me birthday wishes this year. So many of you! You all made me feel very special 💖
September was packed with; birthday celebrations, meeting up with friends, dinners out, back to school after the long summer break, site seeing and museums, and a lot of general organising. I'm tired again just thinking about it!
Blogging
I hit a new personal best for traffic to www.JoLinsdell.com again in September! What an awesome birthday present to get! Thank you to all of you that visit my little corner of the internet. Your support is always very much appreciated.
Traffic for September: 61,763 page-views
Number of posts published in September: 24
In other news, you may have noticed, I'm in the process of a little remodeling here on the site. I'm currently working on a full site audit and so decided I'd freshen up the look of the site at the same time with some new graphic designs. Let me know what you think of the new look.
Undertaking a full site audit is a huge task, especially as I've been doing this for a long time. It's a job that is going to take a while to get through.
This is a full site audit and as such I'll be doing a full content audit and a technical audit of the site. I'll be doing some blog posts soon going into the step by step of each element in more detail, so watch this space!
If you come across any errors whilst visiting please let me know as I want to make sure I'm giving you the best site experience possible.
Reading Challenges
Not a very productive reading month but I did make process with my reading challenges and the books I read were good so I'm still counting it as a win 😉
The Clock Reading Challenge
Books read this month:
The Net Galley TBR Reading Challenge
Books read this month:
Travel
Fitness
I'm still struggling to get into a fitness routine. I did manage to do some exercising (exercise bike and some weights) and I did fit in a lot of walking but I'm not doing it regularly yet. That said I did lose a couple of KGs in September so I am seeing small improvements at least.
Maybe now the kids are back at school and life is getting back into a routine, I might be able to schedule workouts so I'm doing it more regularly. That's the plan anyway.
Do you workout regularly? How do you build a fitness routine you can stick to?
How did you do with your September Challenges? What challenges are you doing this year? Have you read any of these books? Join the conversation in the comments section.
